Job description

  • Providing 1st line and some 2nd line IT support across multiple school sites
  • Setting up laptops, desktops, accounts, passwords, and peripherals
  • Supporting hardware including printers, projectors, and basic networking
  • Logging, updating, and managing tickets via the helpdesk system
  • Assisting with software deployments and system updates
  • Working closely with other technicians to keep services running smoothly
  • Supporting staff and students with day-to-day IT issues
  • Following data protection and health & safety standards at all times

Requirements

  • Minimum 6+ months' IT experience (commercial, educational, or training-based)
  • Comfortable with basic IT support (device setup, password resets, troubleshooting)
  • Keen to develop skills in networks, hardware, and cloud-based systems
  • Friendly, patient, and confident supporting non-technical users
  • Organised, reliable, and happy to travel between sites
  • Experience with Windows environments and Google Workspace
  • Full UK driving licence & access to a vehicle (essential)
