Job description

Delivery & Transformation Leadership

  • Lead Oracle HCM transformation workstreams from design through hypercare
  • Own end-to-end delivery plans, timelines, risks, and dependencies
  • Act as the primary interface between business stakeholders, technical teams, and senior leadership
  • Design and facilitate client workshops, CRP/playback sessions, and executive presentations
  • Lead migration from legacy systems to Oracle Fusion HCM, including high-volume data migrations
  • Own issue, risk, and complaint resolution with a focus on root cause and prevention
  • Produce high-quality delivery artefacts including change strategies, communications, reports, and governance packs

Agile / Scrum Leadership

  • Lead Agile delivery through structured sprints, releases, and continuous improvement cycles
  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
  • Coach delivery teams and stakeholders on Agile and Scrum best practices
  • Partner with Product Owners to prioritise backlogs, enhancements, and support items
  • Maintain Jira boards, sprint metrics, and delivery reporting
  • Drive collaboration, decision-making, and conflict resolution within delivery teams

Oracle Fusion HCM Delivery

  • Lead implementation and support of Oracle Fusion HCM Payroll, Absence Management, and OTL
  • Deliver compliant UK payroll solutions including:
  • Pensions (Auto-enrolment)
  • Statutory payments
  • Absence and time compliance
  • Plan and execute SIT, UAT, Payroll Parallel Runs (PPR), and Hypercare
  • Design and manage:
  • Data migrations and reconciliations
  • Integrations and interfaces
  • Payroll, absence, and time reporting
  • Utilise Oracle HCM tools including:
  • HCM Data Loader (HDL)
  • HCM Extracts & BI Reports
  • Fast Formulas
  • Payroll Batch Loader
  • Produce and review BPS documents, configuration workbooks, test scripts, and change requests
  • Deliver end-user training and knowledge transfer

Governance, Reporting & Business Growth

  • Track and report platform KPIs, delivery metrics, and sprint performance
  • Challenge delivery plans to ensure sustainable, scalable outcomes
  • Contribute to bids, proposals, and client solution design
  • Support development of internal delivery methodologies and service propositions
  • Mentor and line-manage junior team members where required

Requirements

Do you have experience in Scrum?, We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master / Delivery Lead with deep Oracle Fusion HCM Payroll delivery experience to lead complex transformation programmes for UK clients.

This is a hands-on leadership role combining Agile delivery, Oracle HCM functional and technical expertise, and stakeholder management. You will lead end-to-end delivery across Payroll, Absence Management, and Oracle Time & Labor (OTL), ensuring solutions meet UK legislative, business, and quality standards., * 5+ years' experience as a Scrum Master, Delivery Lead, or Implementation Lead

  • Strong hands-on delivery experience with Oracle Fusion HCM Payroll, Absence, and OTL
  • Solid understanding of UK payroll, pensions, and statutory absence legislation
  • Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
  • Strong proficiency with Jira and Agile delivery reporting
  • Experience managing senior stakeholders and complex client environments
  • Background delivering solutions for retail, eCommerce, or public sector clients
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and leadership skill

Preferred Qualifications

  • Scrum certification (PSM I/II, CSM, or equivalent)
  • Experience mentoring or managing delivery teams
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
