Job description
We are looking for a Global Linehaul Programs - Senior Business Analyst based in Diegem, Belgium. The purpose of the role is to define, capture and communicate the requirements and associated effects of changes to Work instructions / processes, Manual systems and/or Applications by identifying and describing changes and innovations that contribute to the delivery of quality processes and systems that support the business in achieving goals and objectives set., * To be the centre of competence for the area under direct control as well as intimate understanding of the interaction between the various tools used across the end-to-end process as well as the key players in the network.
- To sustain the Network's use of the mandated toolset and directly intervene to protect the overall customer service by working with business groups to resolve problems.
- Work with functional and technical experts in designing appropriate systems, implement desired to-be processes and to meet the agreed project deliverables and goals.
- Product(s) specialist with the process/functional/systems knowledge and their relationship to the corporate business object and data models.
- Liaising with Business Process Managers and users to understand, document and prioritise business problems, opportunities and requirements.
- Provide information to the preparation of the business case and project approval process.
- Carry out the preparation of a structured test approach, execution of functional integration and regression testing followed up by the co-ordination and preparation of user testing and release to production activities.
- Prepare training material and delivering training as necessary.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Microsoft Office?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Minimum of 2-3 years experience in an analytical, project orientated or wide operations role
- Experienced in liaising with senior managers both within the organisation and outside agencies
- Expert in one or more business functions with strong business acumen and practical experience of changing processes
- Well-developed analytical skills with related experience in Use Cases, Functional decomposition, Data Models, Enterprise models, context diagrams, process and activity maps, business requirements statements, structured English, functional parts of Systems Architecture Statements and other IS related experience
- Excellent PC skills and IT aptitude including a working knowledge of the Microsoft Office products
- Highly motivated with an ability to manage varying workloads against timescales
- Strong written and spoken English
- First Choice or equivalent experience
- Willing to travel to other DHL Locations
- Demonstrable experience in the analysis, design and implementation of software solutions.
- Communication skills (written and verbal)
- Understanding of the existing processes and Applications within the Network Program area of activity to the level that they can train trainers
- Strong creative thinking
- Posses a background in the use of structured methodologies, tools and design and analysis techniques or a willingness to adopt these techniques
