Enterprise Security Architect

As an Enterprise Security Architect, you will define and maintain the target security architecture for the entire organization across physical and logical domains, onprem and cloud, networks, data, applications, and services. From security policies, you will translate risk insights into practical blueprints, standards, and patterns enabling securebydesign programs and projects while balancing risk, agility, and cost.

As the Domain Security Reference within the Security Architecture function, you will collaborate with Enterprise Architecture, Risk & Compliance, Security Operations, IT/Tech security officers and platform teams to ensure coherent governance, architecture alignment, and a security roadmap for telecom services.

Your main responsibilities:

Design Authority for Enterprise Security

• Act as design authority for the Security purposes at the Enterprise level, namely, physical and logical domains, on-prem and cloud, networks, data, applications, and services.
• Create, maintain, and enforce security architecture standards, reference models, frameworks and patterns, in alignment with corporate policies; govern solution designs to ensure consistent security controls across domains; ensure alignment with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
• Drive transversal Enterprise Security innovation by monitoring industry trends.

Target Enterprise Security Architecture & Roadmap

• Define and maintain the enterprise security target state; contribute to the Enterprise Security Master Plan (3-5 years); develop a realistic 12-18 months roadmap aligned with business goals, regulatory demands, and cost considerations; create actionable transition plans from current to target state in collaboration with Enterprise Architecture and engineering teams.

Secure Solution Design, Program Support & Threat Modeling

• Provide security architecture guidance for complex programs and projects; contribute to threat modeling and security design reviews led by Security Operations and Security Officers.

Cloud Security, IAM & Secure Engineering Enablement

• Advocate and design secure patterns for cloud, identity and access management, and secure engineering practices.

Physical security design

• Defines physical security design patterns and frameworks for facilities, equipment, and operations to ensure integration with the overall Enterprise Security posture.

Do you have experience in Leadership?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Minimum 5 years of experience in IT or Telco field and security roles with a strong focus on architecture, security, governance, and risk management.

• Advanced knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and regulations.
• Good understanding of functional and non-functional architecture (TOGAF, TMF, ODA).
• Hands-on experience in Enterprise Security domains (IAM, network security, data protection, application security) would be a plus.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA would be a plus.
• Excellent communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to business and executive audiences.
• Leadership and collaboration skills; ability to influence cross-functional teams.
• Fluent in English, and French or Dutch.

Specific requirement:

A positive security advice from the National Security Authority is required for this role and the HR team will support you in the process after contract signature.
