Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Embedded Software Development Engineer to join our team. You'll be at the heart of designing and developing low-level embedded real-time software for automotive transmission applications. Your work will ensure robust and efficient integration with hardware components, helping drive our cutting-edge automotive solutions forward., As an Automotive Embedded Software Development Engineer, you will play a crucial role in the development of advanced systems that enhance vehicle performance and safety. Collaborate with hardware engineers and tackle complex software challenges head-on. Your problem-solving skills and structured approach will be essential in creating top-tier embedded software solutions., * Develop Hardware Abstraction Layer (HAL) drivers.

  • Design and implement SPI drivers.
  • Develop code to integrate Power Management ICs and CAN transceivers.
  • Document software design and implementation details in a structured manner.
  • Collaborate with hardware engineers to ensure seamless integration and functionality.
  • Perform debugging and testing of developed software components.
  • Develop ASIL-D compliant software for safety functions.

Requirements

We are looking for a dynamic individual who thrives in a challenging environment and has a passion for automotive engineering:

  • Experience with Renesas RH850 CPU family. (MUST!)
  • Several years of experience in C programming for real-time embedded systems.
  • Proficiency in developing HAL components and SPI driver integration.
  • Experience with real-time operating systems (RTOS).
  • Familiarity with CAN communication protocols and CAN transceiver integration.
  • Experience with AUTOSAR applications.
  • Experience with ETAS tooling for Autosar compliant software development.
  • Hands-on experience with automotive software measurement tools (CANape, CANoe, CANalyzer, or equivalent).
  • Ability to work and think in a structured and detail-oriented manner.
  • Strong communication and documentation skills for cross-functional collaboration.
  • English native or bilingual proficiency.
