We are looking to build a dynamic team of software developers who will work alongside our engineering team to design and implement cutting-edge solutions from a user perspective., As part of this new and exciting function within Crossland, you will play a crucial role in revolutionising our manufacturing processes. You will collaborate closely with our engineering team, leveraging your expertise to iterate quickly on designs and deliver impactful digital solutions. This is an opportunity to join a forward-thinking company at a pivotal moment in our journey, driving innovation and efficiency in our operations., * Software Development: Design, develop, test, and deploy software solutions that address specific needs within our manufacturing operations.
- User-Centric Design: Work closely with the engineering and design team to understand user requirements and translate them into intuitive and effective software applications.
- Collaboration: Participate in cross-functional teams to ensure cohesive integration of software solutions with our existing systems, such as Windchill and NetSuite.
- Iteration and Improvement: Regularly review and iterate on designs based on user feedback and operational performance, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Problem Solving: Diagnose and resolve technical issues, ensuring that software solutions are robust, reliable, and perform well under various conditions.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive documentation for developed software, including design specifications, user instruction videos, and maintenance guides.
- Training and Support: Provide training and support to users, helping them to adopt new technologies and tools effectively.
- Research and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in software development, manufacturing, and digital transformation to bring innovative solutions to the team.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Python?, * Passionate Developer: A love for coding and problem-solving, with a strong desire to innovate.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.

- Experience with PTC Windchill or NetSuite: Advantageous but not a prerequisite., * Legally entitled to work in the UK

- 20 days annual holidays plus 9 public holidays, As a result, by the mid-1990s - building on our extensive repairs experience - we began to manufacture our very own tankers for the UK road industry at our factory in Swatragh, trading under the name Crossland Tankers Ltd.

From here, our business grew year-on-year, culminating in the purchase of Massey tankers, in 2003. This not only gave us access to a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, it also gave us a base within the UK mainland.
Today, we employ over 130 people across our two manufacturing sites at Swatragh (Northern Ireland) and Burnley (Lancashire) and are one of the leading tanker manufacturers in the UK and Ireland.
