- Transform data, apply analytical logic, and build reports across multiple business domains in Power BI.
- Develop DAX queries and functions within Power BI.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, define scope, and support BI solution development.
- Work with large datasets to design and develop Power BI reporting outputs.
- Support data quality initiatives and help identify integrity issues.
- Contribute to self-service reporting by supporting non-technical users with data interpretation.
- Assist with data modelling across operational systems and disparate datasets.
- Build accurate, best-practice data models with guidance from senior team members.
Requirements
Do you have experience in SQL?, We're looking for a Junior BI Developer to join our growing BI Data Team. This is an exciting opportunity for a recently qualified graduate or someone with up to 2 years' experience who is passionate about data and looking to develop their career in Business Intelligence.
You'll support the design and delivery of analytical solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the business. Working closely with stakeholders and technical teams, you'll help turn complex data into clear, impactful dashboards and reports. You will have hands-on experience with Power BI and a foundational understanding of DAX and SQL, with a desire to further develop your technical skills in a fast-evolving environment., * Recently qualified graduate in a relevant field (e.g. Data Analytics, Computer Science, Business Intelligence) or up to 2 years' experience in a BI / Data role.
- Practical experience using Power BI (academic, placement, or commercial experience considered).
- Foundational knowledge of DAX, SQL, and data visualisation principles.
- Understanding of relational databases and basic data modelling concepts.
- Eagerness to learn about data warehousing, ETL processes, and dimensional modelling.
- Power BI certification desirable but not essential.
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proactive, curious, and keen to learn.
- Able to manage priorities and meet deadlines.
- Collaborative team player with a solutions-focused mindset.
Technical Skills Required
- Microsoft Power BI (essential)
- DAX (working knowledge)
- SQL (working knowledge)
- Python (desirable but not essential), * Power BI: 1 year (required)
- BI/Data role : 2 years (required)

- Salary £35,000 per annum
- Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
