- SAP BRIM - Billing and Revenue Innovation Management, integrated with SAP Datasphere, CPQ, Price Management and Customer Portal
The programme will deliver Accelerated Finance first, followed by Enhanced Finance, HR Core, and Commercial Transformation - creating a unified, data-driven, agile enterprise., As an SAP Specialist / SAP Lead Architect, you will be the subject matter expert for one or more of our core functional areas (Finance, HR, Payroll, or Commercial). You will shape, design, and assure the solutions that underpin Royal Mail's future operations.
This is a strategic, high-impact role where your expertise will guide both business and technology teams. You will:
- Own and drive the SAP solution roadmap for your functional area
- Provide architectural leadership across SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, SAP SaaS applications, and integrations
- Evaluate new SAP capabilities and advise on how they can unlock value for Royal Mail
- Champion simplification, standardisation, and process optimisation
- Work closely with senior stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into scalable, secure, compliant solutions
- Lead solution design in a complex, multi-supplier environment
- Ensure solutions align with Royal Mail's architecture principles, security standards, and financial governance

Requirements
Do you have experience in SaaS?, * Deep knowledge of SAP S/4HANA, SAP BTP, and SAP SaaS applications
- Experience delivering end-to-end SAP solutions in large, complex organisations
- Strong understanding of integration patterns (APIs, events, IDoc/OData) and SAP Basis
- Experience in cloud transformation or ECC S/4HANA migration programmes
- For Finance roles: expertise across FI, CO, FSCM, FM, TRM and integration with SD, MM, HCM, SuccessFactors
- For Commercial roles: knowledge of BRIM, SAP configuration, BAdIs, BRF, VOFM, VC/AVC, Material Master & Variant Config
Leadership & Delivery
- Ability to lead solution design and influence cross-functional teams
- Strong communication skills, able to engage both technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience working in outsourced, multi-supplier environments
- A proactive, "can-do" approach and resilience in fast-paced, high-pressure delivery environments
