Job description

  • Building and owning high quality dbt models, ensuring they are performant, well documented and thoroughly tested
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to understand their needs and build models that drive insights and decision making
  • Champion best practices for data modelling, transformation, and governance, in your immediate team and across the business
  • Consult on our evolving data platform, advising on the tooling, infrastructure and practices needed to enable best-in-class Analytics Engineering
  • Proactively problem solving, identifying and confidently mitigating any risks, issues or control weaknesses that arise in your day-to-day, And finally, we have award winning parental leave policies supporting parents through enhanced maternity, partner and adoption leave, as well as additional leave for parental bereavement and for fertility treatments.

Requirements

Do you have experience in SQL?, * Strong SQL skills, with experience writing efficient and well structured queries

  • Hands on experience with DBT, building and maintaining modular, scalable data models that follow best practices
  • Strong understanding of dimensional modelling
  • Familiarity with AWS data services ( S3, Athena, Glue )
  • Experience with Airflow for scheduling and orchestrating workflows
  • Experience working with data lakes or modern data warehouses ( Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery )
