Job description
As a member of our team, you will contribute to the maintenance, development, integration, and validation of operational processors for the Meteosat Third Generation.
Your main tasks will be:
- SW development (Design, algorithm coding, and validation).
- Satellite Earth observation data processing projects at L0/L1/L2 levels for different instruments: optical, LiDAR, radar, radiometers, spectrometers...
- Application development in this field.
- Implementation of scientific algorithms.
- Validation and verification techniques.
Requirements
Do you have experience in UNIX?, We are looking for graduates in Computer Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or a related field with background and interest in Software Development.
Your background should include skills and experience in the following areas:
- Algorithms for Scientific Data Processing.
- C/C++ & GNU toolset.
- Deep understanding of Unix/Linux.
- Software Systems Engineering Scripting (e.g Python, bash.
We will also value previous experience, and knowledge in:
- Configuration Management systems (SVN, GIT...).
- Profiling (Valgrind or similar.
- Eclipse Continuous integration systems (Jenkins or similar.
