As a (Senior)Manager specialized in Enterprise Architecture - SAP and Data Platforms, you will lead multidisciplinary teams to design and deliver large-scale architecture transformation programs for leading organizations. Partnering with senior client stakeholders (CIOs, CTOs, Heads of Architecture), you will shape strategic technology roadmaps and define enterprise architectures that bridge business ambition with technology execution. You will oversee workstreams across ERP modernization, SAP S/4HANA transformation, data platform design, and cloud integration, ensuring coherence, scalability, and long-term business value. You will guide clients in evolving from legacy and fragmented IT systems toward modern, cloud-enabled, data-centric architectures that support agility, innovation, and performance. Working closely with BCG and BCG Platinion teams, you will drive architectural assessments, define transformation trajectories, and support the implementation of hybrid, data-driven, and modular IT ecosystems. You will also help clients build the governance, capabilities, and architecture functions required to sustain transformation over time. You will play a key role in advancing BCG Platinion's Enterprise Architecture and Data agenda by:
- Leading complex client engagements focused on architecture strategy, ERP/data modernization, and transformation execution.
- Supporting business development through proposal leadership, client relationship management, and thought leadership.
- Contributing to internal capability building, mentoring junior architects, and enhancing our market positioning in SAP and Data transformation. You will also benefit from leadership development and continuous learning programs, deepening your expertise in enterprise architecture, cloud strategy, and digital transformation while expanding your impact as a trusted advisor to senior technology executives.
Requirements
Do you have experience in SAP S/4HANA?, * 7-15 years of experience in technology consulting, enterprise architecture, or IT leadership, ideally within a top-tier consultancy, a large enterprise, or a major SAP/data transformation program.
- Proven experience in defining and delivering architecture transformation programs involving SAP S/4HANA migration, ERP landscape rationalization, or data platform modernization.
- Deep understanding of enterprise architecture frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, ArchiMate) and ability to translate business objectives into actionable target architectures and transformation roadmaps.
- Strong expertise in data and analytics architectures, integration patterns, and cloud adoption strategies (hybrid, multicloud, or sovereign).
- Experience engaging with C-level and IT leadership to shape strategic decisions and build alignment between business and technology.
- Demonstrated leadership in guiding multidisciplinary teams, managing delivery quality, and ensuring value realization across large-scale programs.
- Strategic and analytical mindset, capable of synthesizing complex challenges and articulating clear architectural directions.
- Entrepreneurial and growth-oriented attitude - proactive ownership, initiative, and active contribution to business development and practice growth.
- High ethical standards and professional integrity: trust, confidentiality, and respect in all client and team interactions.
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical fields, or in Business with strong understanding of technology and digital transformation topics.
