Job description
We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4HANA Project Manager to lead a critical transition to SAP S/4HANA Private Cloud (RISE) for a key manufacturing site south of paris. This is a high-visibility role requiring a unique blend of technical project governance and "on-the-ground" leadership. You will act as the primary bridge between the Local Plant Manager, the Global ERP Head, and a distributed delivery team comprising US-based functional experts and offshore technical teams., * End-to-End Delivery: Lead the S/4HANA implementation from the current phase through to the February 2027 Go-Live, adhering to the SAP Activate methodology.
- Stakeholder Orchestration: Partner closely with the Plant Manager to ensure minimal disruption to automotive production lines while aligning with the Client ERP Head on global standards.
- Global Coordination: Manage a complex delivery model, coordinating daily with functional leads in the USA and technical development teams offshore.
- On-Site Leadership: Maintain a strong physical presence at the manufacturing site (2-3 days per week or bi-weekly) to drive change management and user adoption for 150 SAP users.
Requirements
- Experience: Proven track record of leading at least one full-lifecycle SAP S/4HANA implementation (Private Cloud/RISE experience preferred).
- Industry Expertise: Deep experience in Manufacturing, ideally within the Automotive or OEM sector. Understanding of shop-floor dynamics and supply chain criticality is essential.
- Methodology: Expert-level knowledge of SAP Activate (Discover, Prepare, Explore, Realize, Deploy, Run).
- Languages: Native or Professional Fluency in French is mandatory for local stakeholder management. Professional English is required for coordination with US and offshore teams.
- Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage offshore technical teams and influence functional leads across different time zones.
- Technical Context: While "Bluefield/Selective Data" experience is not mandatory, a solid understanding of data migration complexities in a brownfield/hybrid environment is highly valued.
