Job description
- Solution Design & Deployment: Lead the design and localization of the SAP TM solution for European markets as part of a wider S/4HANA rollout.
- Fit-Gap Workshops: Plan and facilitate Fit-to-Standard / Fit-Gap analysis workshops with business process owners to validate the template against local requirements.
- Configuration: Perform hands-on configuration of SAP TM scenarios in S/4HANA (embedded), including Freight Order Management, Planning, Carrier Selection, Tendering, and Charge Management/Settlement.
- Integration: Manage integration points with upstream/downstream modules (SAP SD, MM, EWM, FI) and external logistics providers (LSPs/Carriers).
- Documentation: Author functional specifications, configuration rationale documents, and test scripts.
- Testing & Hypercare: Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and provide post-go-live hypercare support for deployed countries.
Requirements
- SAP TM Expertise: 5+ years of functional experience in SAP Transportation Management, with at least one full-lifecycle implementation on S/4HANA (Embedded TM).
- Technical Skills: Strong hands-on configuration skills in TM Master Data, Order Management, Planning (VSR optimizer), and Freight Settlement.
- Workshop Facilitation: Proven ability to lead complex workshops, challenge business requirements, and drive adherence to a global template.
- Logistics Knowledge: Deep understanding of European logistics processes (Road/Rail/Ocean freight nuances).
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication in English; ability to work autonomously in a 100% remote environment.
- Location: Must be physically based in the European Union (Time zone and data regulation compliance).
