Job description
We are seeking an experienced SQL Server & C# Developer with strong knowledge of warehousing operations and ecommerce systems. This role focuses on building and maintaining backend applications, data integrations, and SQL databases that support warehouse processes and operational workflows.
Work will involve production of detailed design documentation for both enhancements and new components, development, component testing and support of subsequent testing phases. Candidates must be confident working in environments where stock accuracy, order flow, and system reliability are critical.
This role is ideal for a developer who enjoys working on the backbone of operational systems ensuring orders flow correctly, stock levels are accurate, and systems remain stable across multiple sales channels. The work is varied, meaningful, and has direct impact on warehouse efficiency., * Advanced SQL Server skills TSQL, stored procedures, functions, indexing, optimisation.
- Strong C#/.NET development experience (Framework or .NET Core).
- Experience building integrations (REST & SOAP APIs).
- Background in warehousing or logistics software (WMS/Warehouse workflows).
- Experience integrating with or supporting ecommerce platforms (Shopify, Amazon, Magento, WooCommerce, etc.).
SQL & Data Integration
- Maintained and optimised SQL Server databases.
- Built ETL or data-sync processes between systems.
- Worked with high-volume transactional data (orders, stock movements).
C# Development
- Built backend services or internal tools in C#.
- Developed integration components (e.g., stock sync, order import/export).
- Automated operational tasks via scheduled services or jobs.
Warehousing & ECommerce
- Supported warehouse processes: picking, packing, dispatch.
- Integrated with courier APIs (DPD, DHL, Royal Mail, etc.)

Requirements
Do you have experience in Warehouse management system?, * Advanced SQL Server skills TSQL, stored procedures, functions, indexing, optimisation.
- Strong C#/.NET development experience (Framework or .NET Core).
- Experience building integrations (REST & SOAP APIs).
- Background in warehousing or logistics software (WMS/Warehouse workflows).
- Experience integrating with or supporting ecommerce platforms (Shopify, Amazon, Magento, WooCommerce, etc.).
- Good understanding of logistics, supply chain and Ecommerce retailing.
- Experience in integrating with Legacy mainframe applications.
- Ability to quickly determine requirements based on Low Level design documents and review of existing code
- Ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines with high levels of accuracy.
- Must be able to work with minimal supervision
- Strong troubleshooting skills, especially with data flow issues.
- Ability to work with technical and nontechnical teams (warehouse staff, operations managers).
- Detailoriented mindset accuracy is crucial in stock and order data.
- Comfortable working independently and owning integrations/services endtoend.
- Able to commute to Bradford city centre, work additional hours to ensure projects completed on time. This role requires two days in the office each week., We offer hybrid working to help you achieve a healthy work life balance.
