Job description

Mehdiward require an IT Technician to join our small IT support team. This job would suit someone with prior work experience or someone with technical knowledge/qualifications and an interest in software development, but without an established track record.

Maintenance and support of WordPress websites will be part of the duties, as well as the potential for web development work and support of the Moodle virtual learning environment. Web work will include content management.

You are expected to work in the office 5 days a week. Core working hours are 9:30-17:30 with one hour for lunch. You will on occasion be required to work outside working hours or the weekend, but this is the exception, not the norm.

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and VPN technologies
  • Understanding firewalls, VPN technologies and computer hardware components
  • Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery and PHP useful but not essential

Benefits & conditions

In return for your commitment, you will receive a competitive salary, 20 days holiday, and a strong commitment to your ongoing professional development, including support and encouragement for the pursuit of an MCSE qualification.

You must be authorised to work in the UK. No agencies please.

Interviews are intended to take place during the w/c 16 Feb 2026.
