Job description

As an Enterprise Architect (f/m/d), you will be part of the IT Strategy & Portfolio team and play a key role in shaping the future IT landscape of the GEA Group. Your focus will be on further developing architecture principles and governance, as well as managing our global application landscape. You will also act as the link between the various architects across our organization's competence centers.

You will establish a lean Enterprise Architecture Practice, providing decision support to the competence centers and ensuring pragmatic alignment on cross-functional topics. Another part of your work involves consulting on and contributing to strategic projects and programs.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain IT architecture principles, standards, and target architectures
  • Build a lean Enterprise Architecture Practice based on our competence-center structure and facilitate the global architecture community
  • Own our EAM tool LeanIX and ensure the quality of architecture and application documentation
  • Create and further develop domain and enterprise architecture roadmaps in collaboration with the competence centers
  • Conduct architecture reviews and ensure governance across strategic IT topics
  • Support strategic programs and projects in solution design, integration topics, and technology decision-making
  • Evaluate technology trends and derive strategic recommendations for GEA

Requirements

Do you have experience in TOGAF?, * Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or a comparable field

  • Several years of experience in Enterprise Architecture or IT Strategy within a complex corporate environment
  • Strong understanding of common frameworks (e.g., TOGAF, ArchiMate, IT4IT, ITIL)
  • Experience with Enterprise Architecture Management and tools such as LeanIX
  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and documentation skills
  • Ability to present complex topics in a clear and understandable manner
  • Knowledge of lean and agile methodologies
  • Very good command of English, German is a plus
