Job description

Join DLL's AI development team as a Data Scientist specializing in Generative AI and Machine Learning, and help shape the future of AI across our global financial organization. In this high - impact role, you will design and develop GenAI and ML solutions that strengthen compliance, reduce risk, and create smarter, more seamless customer and partner experiences. Working closely with stakeholders in Risk, Compliance, Sales, and Operations, you will turn complex business challenges into production-ready AI products that deliver measurable outcomes, improving decision - making, accelerating processes, and unlocking new value. You'll play a key role in advancing DLL's AI strategy, guiding responsible AI adoption, and scaling GenAI and ML capabilities across the enterprise.

What You'll Do

  • Design, develop, evaluate, and deploy ML models for risk, compliance, sales, and operations.
  • Implement and optimize GenAI applications such as RAG pipelines, document intelligence, summarization, and prompt evaluation.
  • Partner with business teams to identify impactful AI opportunities and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Lead Responsible AI initiatives including model monitoring, explainability, and auditability.
  • Promote AI literacy across the organization through demos, workshops, and best practices.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Spark?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Master's in Data Science in Engineering, or equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years applying ML to large datasets with production deployments you can speak to (SLA, latency, monitoring, retraining) .
  • Strong Python, SQL, and Spark skills; experience with Databricks and Azure DevOps (or equivalent cloud-based ML tooling).
  • Hands-on experience with GenAI/NLP techniques (e.g., transformers, embeddings, retrieval, prompt engineering).
  • Solid understanding of model monitoring, drift detection, data quality, and Responsible AI frameworks.
  • Proven ability to conduct stakeholder discovery and turn business problems into measurable ML/GenAI deliverables.
  • Excellent communication skills; comfortable working in Agile/SCRUM teams.

Bonus Points

  • Experience in finance, leasing, or regulated industries (risk modelling, KYC/AML, sanctions, regulatory reporting).
