Job description
As a Software Engineer, you will be integral to the project lifecycle, from design to commissioning, playing a key role in developing control systems and processes., * Develop control descriptions for programming PLCs and control panels, based on P&ID and flow diagrams.
- Program PLCs and control panels.
- Implement and test software on machines and projects.
- Contribute to the quotation process by providing insights into control systems and processes for new machines or projects.
- Support the service department during the commissioning of machines and projects, including onsite assistance both domestically and internationally.
- Assist the service department in troubleshooting, potentially also onsite.
Requirements
- Holds a higher vocational education (HBO) level of work and thought.
- Demonstrable extensive experience in a similar role.
- Knowledgeable in drive technology, pneumatics, and preferably refrigeration installations.
- Skills in drawing or modifying electrical diagrams in Eplan are a plus.
- Familiar with machine safety standards, especially at the electrical/control level.
- Accurate, analytical, and structured with good administrative abilities.
- Capable of working well in a team and independently.
