Job description
As a Senior Data Analyst, you'll shape how data informs decision-making across the company. This is a high-impact, high-ownership role focused on driving product and business outcomes through rigorous analysis, strong data foundations, and clear communication.
- Own the definition, monitoring, and communication of company-wide KPIs, ensuring alignment across product and leadership.
- Partner closely with product, engineering, and growth teams to identify opportunities and deliver actionable, data-driven recommendations.
- Conduct deep analyses on user behavior, operational metrics, and product performance to uncover trends and inform strategy.
- Design and maintain scalable data models and self-serve dashboards that empower teams to answer their own questions with confidence.
- Improve tracking and instrumentation quality by proactively identifying data gaps and advocating for best practices in event design and measurement.
- Translate complex analyses into clear narratives that influence decisions at all levels of the company.
- Support experimentation efforts by defining metrics, evaluating results, and ensuring analytical rigor.
- Raise the bar for analytical standards, documentation, and reproducibility across the organisation.
Requirements

3-6+ years of experience in product analytics, business intelligence, or a similar analytical role.

Strong experience in consumer product analytics, with a track record of influencing product or growth decisions.

Expert-level SQL skills, including complex joins, window functions, and performance optimisation.

Experienced with data modelling and transformation tools such as DBT.

Proficient with modern BI and visualisation tools (Omni, Looker, Tableau, Lightdash, or similar).

Strong communicator and storyteller, able to distill complex findings into clear, actionable insights.

High-agency and comfortable working cross-functionally in fast-moving environments.

Comfortable operating in ambiguity, structuring messy problems into clear analytical frameworks. Nice to Have

Experience in a startup environment, with confidence to surface issues and propose new ideas.

Proficiency in Python or R for deeper analysis, modelling, or automation.

Experience working with event tracking data, funnel analysis, and behavioural segmentation.

Familiarity with version control (Git) and software engineering best practices applied to analytics workflows.
