Job description
*Developing and implementing data strategy and frameworks, to maximise data value in supporting Business Intelligence and Analytics. *Designing, implementing and maintaining the WYP data infrastructure and environment, including data warehousing and within MS azure
- Delivering data services to the force including data architecture, management, engineering and database administration
- Provide expert guidance on database creation, monitoring and maintenance, and to data related programmes and projects, For roles which are advertised as Career Progression Schemes, individuals will be appointed to the bottom scale point of the appropriate grade within the scheme, based on the role entry requirements. Full progression through the scheme may be subject to attaining a specific qualification or successfully passing an assessment or review.

Requirements
- Ability to lead and inspire a team, embracing new technologies and working in a busy and challenging environment.
- Ability to manage relational databases on a large-scale computer infrastructure
- Experience of database creation, performance tuning and migration between differing database versions
- Experience of data warehouse creation to support business analytics Furthermore, you will already have a Degree or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject or relevant experience in a data environment.
