Job description
- Design, develop, test, and maintain Java-based backend applications.
- Build scalable and secure services using Java / J2EE.
- Design and develop RESTful APIs and integrate with front-end and third-party systems.
- Contribute to application architecture and design discussions, ensuring best practices are followed.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code with appropriate documentation.
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve overall code quality.
- Optimize application performance, reliability, and scalability.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA, and DevOps teams throughout the development lifecycle.
- Participate actively in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Participate in architecture discussions, propose technical improvements, and mentor junior developers.
- Leverage AI-powered tools and workflows to improve development efficiency through and code quality
Requirements
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Java Developer (f/m/d) with 7-10 years of hands-on experience in building scalable, reliable, and high-performance enterprise applications. The ideal candidate has strong core Java expertise, solid experience with modern backend frameworks, and the ability to take ownership of complex modules while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
The ideal candidate is passionate about building excellent user experiences and actively embraces AI-powered tools and workflows to accelerate development, improve consistency, and enhance code and UI quality., * 7- 10 years of professional experience in Java application development.
- Strong proficiency in Core Java, including OOP concepts, collections, multithreading, and exception handling.
- Hands-on experience in designing and consuming RESTful APIs.
- Strong understanding of SQL and relational databases (Microsoft SQL Server).
- Experience with ORM frameworks such as Hibernate / JPA.
- Working knowledge of build and dependency management tools (Maven / Ant).
- Understanding of unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments., and maintainable web applications.
Nice-to-Have (Bonus Skills)
- Familiarity with microservices architecture and distributed systems concepts.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Exposure to messaging systems (RabbitMQ, Kafka).
- Experience with in-memory Cache (Redis).
- Basic knowledge of security concepts (OAuth2, JWT).
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps).
- Knowledge of cloud-based solutions (Azure).
