Head of Data Platform & Analytics

• Build and scale a modern cloud-based data ecosystem as the foundation for analytics and AI
• Establish a data product operating model serving BI, data science, and AI use cases
• Ensure analytics-ready and ML-ready data for AI agents and LLM-based applications, predictive models, forecasting, optimization
• Enable AI-powered analytics, incl. "chat with your data"
• Drive the evolution from reporting ?' predictive & prescriptive analytics
• Define and embed data governance (ownership, quality, standards) into the platform
• Lead and scale a team of Data Analytics Engineers
• Act as a senior interface to Data Science, AI, Business, and IT teams

• Extensive experience in data, analytics, or data platform leadership roles
• Proven experience modernizing or replacing legacy DWH / BW landscapes including establishment of Data Governance
• Strong understanding of Data Engineering (pipelines, transformations, scalability), Analytics & BI (semantic layers, self-service), Data Science & ML (feature readiness, training vs. Inference needs)
• Experience in enabling data for AI / ML use cases at scale
• Strong people leadership and enterprise stakeholder management
• Experience with GCP-based data ecosystems, incl. BigQuery (analytical & ML-ready data modeling) and Looker / Looker Studio (semantic layer, governed self-service)
• Familiarity with ML pipelines and feature concepts (offline / online features)
• Exposure to LLM-based analytics and AI agent architectures
• Understanding of governance, security, and compliance in cloud environments
• Product- and value-driven mindset
