Senior ServiceNow Developer

We are seeking an experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer for a Central Government client on an initial 6-month contract.

This role requires active SC Clearance and you will play a key role in designing, developing, and enhancing ServiceNow solutions, ensuring high performance, scalability, and alignment with business requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop ServiceNow solutions across multiple modules

Deliver advanced JavaScript development within the ServiceNow platform

Lead on UI customisation, including UI Policies, UI Actions, Client Scripts, and Service Portal customisation

Develop and maintain ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Script Includes, Flow Designer, etc.)

Configure and extend ServiceNow data models, including tables, relationships, and CMDB structures

Collaborate with architects, business analysts, and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions

Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to best practice and platform governance

Support testing, deployment, and knowledge transfer activities

Strong experience as a Senior ServiceNow Developer

Advanced JavaScript development skills

Extensive experience with ServiceNow UI customisation

In-depth understanding of ServiceNow data models and platform architecture

Proven experience with ServiceNow scripting, including Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, and integrations
