Job description

As an Application Support Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the stability, performance, and continuous improvement of key business applications. You will troubleshoot technical issues, support MS SQL databases and C# .NET applications, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high-quality service within agreed SLAs. Key Responsibilities

  • Provide 2nd/3rd line application support across business-critical systems
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues efficiently
  • Support and administer MS SQL databases and C# .NET applications
  • Work with incident ticketing systems and knowledge base platforms to meet SLA targets
  • Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams
  • Ensure adherence to IT security principles and best practices

Requirements

  • ITIL certification
  • Proven experience in application support environments
  • Strong experience supporting and administering MS SQL databases
  • Experience with C# .NET applications
  • Solid understanding of database systems (SQL, MySQL, etc.)
  • Knowledge of web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
  • Experience using support tools and incident management systems
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Customer-focused approach with a commitment to service excellence
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
