Software Engineer (Java Specialist), Remote (10 day on-site in Luxembourg) - EIB

The Software Engineer (Java Specialist) will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting Java-based solutions within a highly automated and cloud-oriented environment. The role involves end-to-end participation in software development activities, from coding and debugging to building CI/CD pipelines and automating processes with Ansible.

The specialist will also contribute to system validation, deployment workflows, and troubleshooting activities, ensuring the reliability and performance of applications across development and production environments. Occasional on-site presence in Luxembourg is required, with the majority of the work performed remotely.

Key tasks & responsibilities:

• Develop and debug Java-based software solutions.
• Build and maintain automated test cases.
• Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines, particularly in Microsoft Azure.
• Create and maintain automation workflows using Ansible.
• Support build, validation, deployment, and release processes.
• Perform basic Unix system administration tasks.
• Generate reports on pipeline execution results.
• Assist in root cause analysis for issues arising in development or production environments.

Do you have experience in Test cases?, Do you have a Master's degree?, Minimum experience: 11+ years of experience if a related field.

Studies required: Bachelor/Master degree in computer sciences or other relevant field.

Language: English (C1)., * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

• 11+ years of experience in a relevant domain.
• Strong expertise in Java programming and its runtime environment.
• Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines in Microsoft Azure.
• Solid hands-on experience with Ansible automation.
• Experience with Azure DevOps pipelines related to WSS packaging and CSD deployment.
