Job description
A vacancy for an Onboard Safety-Critical Software Engineer in Aerial Delivery department has arisen within Airbus Defence & Space in Getafe.
The selected person will be focused on aerial delivery development projects associated with A-400M aircraft in an international environment.
The duties and responsibilities of the Onboard Safety Critical Software Engineer for the Department of Aerial Delivery Software will be the following:
- To be in charge of the Software Requirements Specification for the Onboard Safety Critical Computers developed inside the AD Domain.
- To be in charge of the Hardware/Software Integration Testing for the Onboard Safety Critical Computers developed inside the AD Domain.
- To be involved in the development of the Software DO-178B DAL B for the Onboard Computers developed under the responsibility of the Aerial Delivery domain, and to be involved in its verification (testing, reviews and analysis).
- Develop considering the following factors: Safety, Quality, Systems Performance, Cost, Environmental, Operational and Industrial Requirements.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer or Software Engineering.
- At least 6 years of experience in similar positions.
- Advanced level in English.
- Demonstrated experience in Software Development.
- Knowledge of programming languages as C/C++.
- Desirable experience in SW verification tools.
- Desirable knowledge of Real Time Operating Systems.
- Desirable experience in Software Certification Processes applying the RTCA DO-178B/C up to DAL A/B.
- Desirable Worst-Case Execution Time Analysis techniques.
