Job description

  • Assist the technical manager to ensure that external quality audits are successfully accomplished and to assist with the handling of all corrective actions resulting from any non-compliance.
  • Assisting with the validation of new and amended methods throughout the laboratory.
  • Participation in and documentation of monthly manager's meetings and quarterly Risks & Opportunities meetings.
  • Implementing technical policy, plans, programmes and projects in alignment with the intentions of the Board of Directors and the accreditation standards.
  • Assisting with the monthly document review, typing up document amendments and ensuring documents are reviewed by the relevant people.
  • Recording data for training and compliance purposes.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Organizational skills?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Computer literate with experience in Microsoft packages.

  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
  • The suitable candidate will have a science-based degree.

About the company

Previously operating as Microsearch Laboratories, we now trade as ifp-labs UK West Yorkshire Limited. We are a UKAS accredited laboratory that has been providing analytical services to the food industry for over 30 years. We are seeking a Technical Administrator to join our Technical department on a full time basis. The main purpose of the role is to assist the Technical Manager in ensuring the technical standards of the laboratory meet or exceed customer expectations and the international standard of ISO17025.
