Job description
We're seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer to join our team and play a key role in supporting our clients' IT needs. This position involves a mix of remote helpdesk support, on-site visits, and project management to ensure seamless service delivery. If you thrive in a fast-paced setting and are passionate about cyber security and Microsoft technologies, this could be the perfect opportunity for you., * Provide helpdesk support during office hours (Monday to Friday, standard business hours), troubleshooting and resolving IT issues efficiently via phone, email, or remote access.
- Conduct on-site visits to client locations for hardware installations, issue resolution, and system upgrades.
- Project manage client onboarding processes, including setup of new systems, migrations, and upgrades to ensure smooth transitions.
- Collaborate with the team to implement and maintain cyber security best practices, including tenant hardening and enhancing clients' overall security posture.
- Assist in achieving and maintaining compliance with Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus standards for our clients.
Requirements
Do you have a valid Driving Licence license?, Do you have experience in VoIP?, * Proven experience in IT support, preferably in a helpdesk or field engineer role.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services, including Entra ID, Intune, Microsoft Defender, Conditional Access, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policies.
- Expertise in cyber security principles, with a focus on tenant hardening and improving organizational security.
- Familiarity with Cyber Essentials and Cyber Essentials Plus frameworks.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients.
- Valid UK driving license and willingness to travel to client sites as needed.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft 365 Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator, CompTIA Security+) are highly desirable.
