Automation Consultant

We're supporting a financial services organisation on a major transformation programme and need an Automation Consultant who can sit between the business and delivery teams. You'll run discovery, shape requirements, produce clear designs, and help drive automation delivery at pace., * Capture requirements, map As-Is / To-Be processes, and define acceptance criteria

• Produce solution designs (including exceptions, controls, logging, and support approach)
• Work closely with developers (nearshore and/or internal) to clarify requirements during build
• Support sprint planning, backlog refinement, UAT readiness and go-live coordination
• Help improve standards and ways of working so automations are robust and supportable

Do you have experience in Power BI?, This is a client-facing role. You must be confident with stakeholders, able to explain automation in plain English, and also understand the tech well enough to design solutions that developers can build with minimal rework., * Proven automation delivery experience in a regulated or process-heavy environment (FS preferred)

• Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation
• Hands-on knowledge of Automation Anywhere and/or Power Automate
• Solid understanding of the wider Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps/Power BI awareness is a plus)
• Comfortable translating business needs into clear functional and technical designs
• Experience working in agile delivery (sprints, backlogs, iterative build)

Nice to have

• OCR / document ingestion and unstructured data experience (email, PDFs, scans)
• Experience improving or setting up CoE standards (templates, governance, documentation)
