Item and Master Data Manager

Tasks

• Manage and maintain material master data in the ERP system.
• Create and update DVS documents like TDS and MSDS.
• Support workflows and assist in data assessments and corrections., * Creating and maintaining material master data in the ERP system according to defined standards and guidelines
• Creating and maintaining DVS documents (TDS, MSDS...)
• Processing various workflows or supporting them
• Initiating and collaborating on evaluations of alternative and successor materials as well as cleaning up duplicate and multiple numbering
• Participating in the configuration management process (KOFIMA)
• Supporting data stewards in the area of material master data
• Interface between system owner, system manager, and internal and external customers
• Supporting area-specific project services
• Monitoring and correcting interfaces (e.g., i-Doc, ALE, etc.), * Creating and maintaining material master data in the ERP system according to defined standards and guidelines

• Completed vocational training in mechanics or electrical engineering.
• Experience in master data management with at least two years.
• Proficient in SAP R/3 and/or S4 Hana., * Completed vocational training in mechanics or electrical engineering
• Basic experience in master data management, ideally with at least two years of experience
• Knowledge in process modeling, data rules, data workflow & data quality management is an advantage
• Experience with SAP R/3 and/or S4 Hana
• Good coordination and communication skills (online and offline) to maintain relationships with other specialists
• High quality awareness, service orientation, reliability, and assertiveness
• Native German speaker with good English skills, * Basic experience in master data management, ideally with at least two years of experience
