Job description
We are looking for a Software Asset Management Analyst who specializes in Microsoft or IBM licensing based in our Spanish office, a key team in our technology ecosystem.
The objective is to optimize software contract spend, manage compliance, analyses data, draw the relevant conclusions and then work with others to implement opportunities or remediate risks.
Your main tasks will be:
- Ability to implement and advise on complex software licensing issues and develop specific ELPs.
- Management and configuration of FlexNet Manager Suite.
- Serve as a liaison between technical teams and sourcing and procurement teams and facilitate an information-sharing environment.
- Proactively identify and drive software-related savings initiatives, developing best practices and processes to continuously improve the software asset management service and ensure compliance with budget and contractual requirements.
- Identify necessary changes and manage demand and contract updates, and collaborate with technical, legal, sourcing, and procurement teams.

Requirements
- Deep knowledge of licensing concepts and product use rights, specifically for Microsoft or IBM both on premises and in the cloud.
- Fluent written and spoken Spanish and English level B2.
- Practical experience and knowledge of FlexNet Manager Suite.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Analytical skills, ability to process data in a complex global organizational environment.
- Attention to detail, organizational, productivity, time, and project management skills, and ability to interact and influence.
