What are you going to do? We are looking for a development intern to work on our custom website and front end system, alongside Alex and Tim (both Dutch) and Bruno (Portuguese). Here's the knowledge and experience we'd like you to have: Required knowledge You need to have proven skills in web development: - HTML en CSS (SASS) - Javascript - jQuery - Bootstrap (or TailwindCss) - Responsive websites Preferred knowledge / experience You will use these technologies, but they can easily be learned on the job: - Svelte / Svelte kit (or react) - C# or related server side technologies (like PHP or Java) - Database experience (Sql and/or NoSql) - Fetch Api - Version control / git (working with Pull Requests) - 'Serverless' platforms (Netflify/Vercel/Begin/Cloudflare) Nice to have Our backend team works with: - c# .net core - EF Core - SqlServer You probably won't work with the following technologies, but knowledge of them can be beneficial: - Firestore / Firebase - MongoDB / CouchDB - Elastic search And who are you? We think that the following set of traits, interests and experience will be the best match: - You're currently in the 3rd or 4th year of your ICT, Computer Science, Software Engineering or Application and Media Development and you're on your way to becoming a front end or full stack developer. - You share our mission of making compassion and sustainability the new normal. You are (on your way to becoming) a vegan and have a passion for a vegan, fair & sustainable lifestyle. - You are pragmatic, creative and open-minded. - You have an academic mind. - You have a high verbal proficiency in English.
