Storage, Backup Consultant - Belfast, UK

As a Principal Consultant, you are an expert at contributing to different phases of the consulting lifecycle. You will be intensely involved in; you will define the problem, propose and refine the solution. You will also play an important role in the development, configuration and deployment of the overall solution. You will guide teams on project processes, deliverables and contribute to the proposal development, client training and internal capability-building and help detail the project scope. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape., As part of Customer's location based at Belfast, you as a technical / functional consultant you will perform the following types of work:

• Customer support and standard assigned task
• Supporting Incident, Task and other BAU related activities for below technologies

o Storage, Backup, o VMWARE o OS, Database and Networking o Docker

• Monitoring and responding to Monitoring and alerts in above supported technologies
• Documentation (RCA, Problem Management) and related support activities.
• Patching and keeping the environment safe
• Support with defined and approved ITSM Processes.
• Disaster recovery and related activities
• Manage ServiceNow tickets and queue.
• Collaborating with other team members.
• Providing On-call support on a rotational to support P1/P2 incidents.

• Perform all activities as described in scope of services above and anything related that is mandated

Follow the Customer SDLC process and produce relevant documentation for each SDLC phase like

• Candidate will report to and take daily direction from the IPS and Customer PM
