Job description
As a dedicated Data analyst within our core product, you will be involved in regularly conducting analysis for all stakeholders. Your daily work will impact how and what we build; as well as drive the direction we are heading as a business. You will dive deeper into crucial team metrics, drive best practices and help scale our data governance. The insights generated from your datasets will crucial and used by the rest of the company to enable our growth globally., * Strategic Leadership: Act as a key partner to the Leadership and Product teams, moving beyond "request fulfillment" to proactively identifying business opportunities and risks through advanced whitespace analysis.
- Data Architecture & Governance: Lead the design and maintenance of our data models. You will set the standards for data integrity, documentation, and peer code reviews, ensuring our data stack scales as we grow globally.
- Advanced Analytics: Own the end-to-end lifecycle of complex analytical projects-from hypothesis generation to deep-dive modeling and executive presentation.
- KPI Ownership: Define and monitor high-level business metrics (like LTV, CAC, Time2Market), building the automated frameworks that allow the company to track these in real-time.
- Mentorship: Act as a technical lead for more junior team members, fostering a culture of analytical excellence and teaching best practices in SQL, Python, and data storytelling.
- Cross-Functional Influence: Work closely with Backend and Data Engineering to influence our data infrastructure roadmap, ensuring the "analytical layer" is optimized for speed and accuracy.

Requirements
Do you have experience in Tableau?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, Who you are
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in data analytics, ideally within a high-growth Fintech, SaaS, or lending environment.
- SQL Mastery: You are an expert in SQL, capable of optimizing complex queries and architecting efficient data schemas.
- Technical Stack: Proficient in Python for advanced data manipulation and statistical modeling.
- BI & Visualisation: Extensive experience with BI tools (Metabase, Looker, Tableau, or PowerBI), with a focus on building intuitive, executive-ready dashboards that drive action, not just "vanity metrics."
- Statistical Rigor: Strong understanding of statistics (A/B testing, regression, forecasting) and how to apply them to real-world business problems like credit risk or churn prediction.
- Business Acumen: You understand the unit economics of a fintech business and can translate "messy data" into a clear narrative for non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solver: You don't wait for a ticket. You see a gap in the data or a drop in a metric and dive in to find the "why" ; and you are product-minded, always thinking of how their actions will ultimately impact the customer.
