Job description

As a Software Engineer, you will work with Product Owners, SME's and the rest of the team to deliver excellent and timely customer outcomes through continuous development and delivery. You will use your experience to contribute improvements to development standards and practices to increase the quality and efficiency of delivery.

We work with a modern tech stack, and while experience with some of these technologies is beneficial, it's not essential; our UI tools include TypeScript, React, Next.js, HTML/CSS, Docker, GitHub Actions and AWS services such as CDK, ECS, ALB and VPC, while our API environment includes Go, REST, CDK, AWS Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, EventBridge and S3 within a serverless, event-driven architecture, and our platform technologies are built primarily on Go, CDK and AWS

Requirements

Do you have experience in TypeScript?, * Experience developing across a wide variety of programming languages with an appetite to learn and implement new languages such as 'Go'

  • Well-versed in modern development practices including Agile and continuous deployments, DevOps and either AWS, Azure or Google cloud
  • You take pride in your work and delivery quality outputs at every step of a project
  • You appreciate the bigger picture, you are confident to contribute your ideas to the team on new technologies, solutions, and delivery approaches
  • You enjoy working in a collaborative environment, working through challenges with colleagues whilst having fun along the way

  • Salary circa £70,000 (depending on location, skills, experience, and qualifications)
