Commissioning Manager (CxM) - Data Centres

We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Commissioning Manager (CxM) specialising in Data Centres. The successful candidate will oversee the commissioning process from inception to completion, ensuring all systems are tested, integrated, and operationally ready in accordance with project specifications and industry standards. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex projects within a dynamic environment, contributing to the development of state-of-the-art data centre facilities. The ideal applicant will possess strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a comprehensive understanding of data centre infrastructure., * Lead and coordinate the entire commissioning process for data centre projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget.

• Develop detailed commissioning plans, schedules, and procedures aligned with project requirements.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams including engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to execute testing, inspection, and validation activities.
• Oversee system integration, performance testing, and troubleshooting to verify operational readiness of electrical, mechanical, HVAC, fire protection, and security systems.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations throughout all phases of commissioning.
• Document all testing activities meticulously and prepare comprehensive reports for stakeholders.
• Liaise with clients, project managers, and design teams to communicate progress and resolve technical issues promptly.
• Facilitate training sessions for operational staff on newly commissioned systems.
• Maintain quality standards throughout the commissioning process while adhering to industry best practices.

Do you have experience in Leadership?, * Proven track record of managing commissioning activities within large-scale data centre or critical infrastructure projects.

• Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, HVAC solutions, fire suppression systems, and building management systems (BMS).
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams effectively.
• Experience in developing commissioning plans, procedures, and reports in line with industry standards such as BICSI or CIBSE guidelines.
• Familiarity with relevant health and safety legislation applicable to construction and operational environments.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting complex technical issues.
• Relevant qualifications such as a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent; certifications like NABCEP or CEM are advantageous.
