Tasks
- Administer virtual Linux (RHEL) and Unix (AIX) servers.
- Ensure server availability, performance, and security standards.
- Automate tasks with Ansible and manage updates and incidents., We are looking for a Linux System Engineer to join our teams in Geneva and support our clients in managing the Linux (RHEL) and Unix (AIX) virtual server fleet as well as the associated management tools., * Manage the Linux (RHEL) and Unix (AIX) virtual server fleet as well as the associated management tools
- Ensure the availability, performance, and security of servers according to OCSIN standards and norms
- Automate day2 activities via Ansible (roles, playbooks, modules, satellite and AWX administration)
- Manage updates, upgrades, and incident handling
- Identify and manage risks related to system security
- Provide support to solution integrators and participate in vulnerability management
- Write and maintain technical documentation
- Collaborate with teams to share knowledge and ensure project coherence, Interviews (on average, the number of interviews is 3 - but it may vary depending on the seniority level required for the position). Requirements
- 4-6 years in Linux (RHEL) and Unix (AIX) administration.
- Proficient in Ansible for task automation and management.
- Strong knowledge of security protocols and CI/CD procedures., * 4 to 6 years of experience in Linux (RHEL) and Unix (AIX) administration
- Proficiency in Ansible for task automation and module management
- Proficiency in Red Hat Satellite and AWX
- Strong skills in operating system security
- Master's degree or equivalent higher education
- Knowledge of storage (block, file, object) and administration of Podman and Docker
- Good knowledge of CI/CD procedures and Service Mesh solution
- Fluent in French, both spoken and written
- English is a plus
