Job description

The role includes designing test strategies, reviewing automation frameworks, enabling CI/CD integration, and guiding a team of test engineers., 1. Own test strategy, planning, execution, coverage tracking, and test reporting for Android Automotive infotainment systems.

Design, review, and approve automated test scripts in Python using frameworks such as Pytest, Appium, UI Automator,robot framework.

Guide automation development for ADB-driven tests, emulator-based testing, and physical AAOS hardware testing.

Oversee creation and maintenance of comprehensive automated test suites covering functional, integration, and user journeys

Ensure full requirement traceability in tools like JIRA, Polarion, or DOORS etc.

Enable automated test execution in CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins).

Conduct log analysis: CAN logs, Ethernet logs, System logs, ADB logs.

Allocate bugs to appropriate teams with proper logs, traces, screenshots, and reproduction steps.

Collaborate with developers, UX, architects, and product managers for feature understanding and refinement.

Ensure process compliance with ASPICE, ISO-26262 testing requirements.

Good knowledge in bench testing
Requirements
Do you have experience in Python?, 1. 8-12+ years in automotive infotainment, AAOS testing.

Strong hands-on experience developing Python-based automation suites.

Understanding of Android Automotive OS, VHAL, emulator/hardware bring-up.

Expertise with adb, Android Studio, Android logs, system debugging.

Strong knowledge of CANoe/CANalyzer and communication protocols: CAN, SOME/IP, Ethernet, FlexRay (plus), Bluetooth.

Experience integrating automated test suites with CI/CD tools.

Strong leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder communication skills.

Strong experience in testing of Automotive Infotainement modules.
-
In- vehicle testing experience is added advantage.
