The Senior Engineer will design and execute test cases, develop automation using Python for Android Automotive applications, and ensure integration and functional testing across infotainment modules., 1. Design and develop automated test scripts in Python using Pytest/Appium/UI Automator/robot framework.

Build & maintain automated test suites for AAOS features and user journeys.

Integrate test scripts into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/Jenkins).

Execute module-level, system-level, and integration tests.

Analyze automation results; identify bugs and report them with strong evidence.

Conduct log analysis (ADB logs, system logs, CAN traces).

Perform requirement mapping and maintain traceability.

Support Lead Engineer with planning, reviews, and mentoring juniors.

Stay updated with Android frameworks, AOSP/AAOS changes, and test utilities.
Requirements
Do you have experience in SDLC?, 10. Good knowledge of QC as per ASPICE, ISO 26262., 1. 4-8 years in Android Automotive, or automotive infotainment testing.

Proven experience writing automated test scripts in Python (mandatory).

Experience with at least one: Pytest, Appium, UI Automator, robot Framework

Strong hands-on experience with adb, Android Studio, Android logs.

Experience using Android emulators and real AAOS devices.

Familiarity with CI/CD (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).

Understanding of VHAL properties, HAL layers, AAOS architecture.

Knowledge of CAN, SOME/IP, Ethernet (added advantage).

Excellent analytical, debugging, and communication skills.
-
Proven experience of V- Model, SDLC, Agile Metheology and STLC and Bench testing.

Strong experience in testing of Automotive Infotainement modules.
-
In- vehicle testing experience is added advantage.
