Job description
The Technical Product Owner Integrated Systems is responsible for leading the platform of System Engineering Applications (SYSaaP) and for defining, maintaining, and governing standardized System Engineering practices executed with these tools.
This dual role covers product ownerships of the SYSaaP platform as well as the technical leadership of the System Engineering practices embedded in the fields of Requirement Engineering (RE), System Design (SD), Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE), Product Line Engineering (PLE), and Integration, Verification, Validation & Qualification (IVVQ).
By doing this, the Technical Product Owner Integrated Systems ensures that System Engineers can work efficiently, consistently, and effectively with the engineering applications that support their craft, while also ensuring cross-disciplinary alignment of connected engineering environments., * Take ownership of SYSaaP
- Define and own the SYSaaP product vision, roadmap, and backlog.
- Ensure the platform provides a coherent, stable, and scalable environment for System Engineering activities.
- Prioritize features, enhancements, and technical improvements based on engineering needs and business value.
- Contribute to the end-to-end integration of engineering toolchains across disciplines
- Standardize SE Tooled-up Practices
- Maintain, and govern standardized Tooled-up Practices (TuPs) for RE, SD, MBSE, PLE, and IVVQ
- Drive continuous improvement and alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Align System Engineering practices and applications with those of Software Engineering (SW), Hardware Engineering (HW) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM).
- Foster collaboration with and across disciplines
- Collaborate closely with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Engineering Coaches.
- Support training, onboarding, and coaching activities for System Engineers using SYSaaP.
- Promote craftsmanship by helping teams adopt modern SE methodologies and tool-assisted practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Systems Engineering, Engineering Management, or a related technical field.
- Several years of experience working in a System Engineering discipline.
- Experience with MBSE and SE tool ecosystems.
- Deep knowledge of System Engineering methodologies (RE, SD, MBSE, PLE, IVVQ)
- Understanding of engineering tool integration architectures and data models.
- Familiarity with workflow design, automation, and model governance.
