Job description
- Assist in maintaining and developing websites and online applications using clean, efficient code in PHP, HTML, CSS and JavaScript
- Learning to write well structured, organised and scalable code in advanced frameworks like Laravel, Node, Scss and more
- Build fully manageable and customisable websites using CMS systems like Shopify and WordPress
- Collaborate and learn from other developers on the team
- Help to debug and test websites and online applications using varied browsers, devices and technologies
- Bringing your own ideas to the table and becoming an integral part of a growing team
Requirements
Do you have experience in WordPress?, * A good understanding of HTML, CSS and Javascript
- A basic understanding of PHP
- A basic understanding of version control (Git)
- Willingness to learn and be part of a fast-paced team
- A keen eye for detail and ability to visually match development to designs
- Good problem-solving skills
- Passionate about development and knowledgeable about web development and digital technologies
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, * Advanced WordPress development using custom themes and plugins like ACF (Advanced Custom Fields).
- An understanding of advanced frameworks like Laravel, Node and Scss
- An understanding of task runners and build processes using frameworks like Gulp, Webpack, Grunt and NPM
- An understanding of managing and maintaining databases
- Server-side programming experience using PHP or Node
- Experiencing configuring server/hosting environments and deploying projects
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- A team player with ability to work independently
- Ability to build relationships with colleagues
- Handle a varied workload and maintain high quality work
- Ability to meet tight deadlines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Very organised

In-Person Interview & Practical Test
Shortlisted candidates will be invited to an in-person interview at our Wallasey office, where we will give the candidate, a scenario-based assessment(s) to complete.
During this stage, candidates will also be asked questions regarding their experience, technical knowledge, etc.
You may be required to complete a small development project to help us get a better understanding of your skill level.
