We're partnered with a fast-scaling UK SaaS technology company building sophisticated, data-driven digital products used by commercial teams to better understand and engage their customers. As they evolve their next-generation customer-facing platforms, they're looking for a Technical Lead to take ownership of technical delivery and architectural direction.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You'll be involved from early design through to production deployment, working in a modern cloud environment, where code ships to live environments daily.
Tech Environment
You'll work with a modern stack including:
- TypeScript, JavaScript
- Microservices Architecture
- Redis, SQL Server & Snowflake
- AWS cloud infrastructure
- Mature CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practices
It's a fast-moving SaaS environment with continuous deployment and a strong emphasis on engineering quality.
Requirements

- 10+ years' experience in full stack development
- 3+ years' commercial TypeScript experience
- Strong Node.js expertise
- Proven background in system design and scalable architectures
- Experience building and operating large, production SaaS platforms
- A clean-code mindset (SOLID principles, design patterns, testable systems)
- Experience working within mature CI/CD environments
- Strong commercial awareness when designing solutions
- Confident communicator who collaborates effectively with stakeholders
- An interest in leveraging AI to improve and accelerate development
- Passion for performance, security, and engineering excellence
- Computer Science degree or equivalent real-world expertise
