Senior Technology Leader

(Senior Engineering Manager/Head of Engineering/Director of Engineering/VP of Engineering/CTO with modern engineering depth), This is a senior technical leadership position designed for an engineering expert, not a delivery manager. You will work closely with a Development Manager, Team Lead and domain specialists, providing the technical authority needed to raise engineering standards, modernise their platform and embed AI enabled capabilities into their product suite. We are looking for someone who has built modern engineering environments first hand and can credibly coach others to do the same.

About the Role The Senior Technology Leader will be responsible for establishing engineering excellence across the organisation. Your remit spans technical standards, cloud native architecture, automation, AI and MLOps, and the evolution of their software engineering culture. You will influence product direction and play a central role in shaping the technical future of their ERP system.

This role requires modern engineering depth, architectural credibility and experience delivering AI and data driven solutions. It is ideal for someone who has progressed from hands on engineering into senior technical leadership.

• Software Engineering background/Modern Software Architecture
• AI/ML Technical Implementation
• Strong ERP, * Hands on experience building CI CD pipelines with modern automation tooling
• Delivered automated testing frameworks and Embedded quality engineering practices
• Designed and implemented microservices, containerised systems and event driven architectures
• Strong understanding of cloud native development and modern API patterns
• Built and deployed production machine learning models, with experience in MLOps and AI engineering
• Experience enabling engineering teams to adopt AI assisted coding and testing tools
• Background in enterprise software or ERP platform development
