Job description

Ecosave Gas and Power is a UK-based business energy consultant helping organisations secure the best possible value from their gas and electricity contracts. As we grow, we're investing heavily in better insight, stronger reporting, and smarter decision-making across the business. To support this, we're looking for a Data Analyst with the technical ability and commercial mindset to turn raw data into meaningful, actionable intelligence.

This role is perfect for someone who loves exploring data, improving processes, and building clear, accurate MI that the business can trust.

About the Role

You'll work across our internal CRM, dialler system, sales activity data, operational workflows, and financial information to produce high-quality reporting and insight. You'll help shape dashboards, automate processes, and improve data accuracy so the business can scale efficiently.

The ideal candidate will be confident with Excel/Google Sheets, experienced in cleaning and manipulating data, and able to build professional dashboards in Power BI and/or Tableau., * Maintain, analyse, and interpret data from our internal CRM and operational systems

  • Extract, clean, and transform data from MaxContact (dialler analytics, contact rates, agent MI, campaign performance, etc.)
  • Produce daily/weekly/monthly reporting and KPIs for sales, operations, and leadership teams
  • Build dashboards and visual insights using Power BI and/or Tableau
  • Create and maintain data models that support forecasting, performance tracking, and strategic planning
  • Automate repetitive reporting tasks to improve efficiency and accuracy
  • Validate data sources, check for inconsistencies, and resolve data integrity issues
  • Collaborate with managers and team leads to understand reporting requirements and turn them into usable MI
  • Provide insights and recommendations that help improve sales performance, customer experience, and operational efficiency

Requirements

Do you have experience in Data analysis skills?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * Strong knowledge of MYSQL and Postgress

  • Advanced Excel knowledge and experience of using PowerQuery, PowerAutomate and VBA
  • Highly skilled in BI tools
  • Comfortable working with large datasets from multiple sources
  • Excellent understanding of data cleaning, transformation, and validation
  • Ability to translate complex information into clear visuals and summaries
  • Confident communicating insights to non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to build automated workflows or scheduled reports
  • Knowledge of CRM-based reporting

Non-Essential but Desirable Skills

  • Experience within energy, utilities, sales, brokerage, or call-centre environments
  • Knowledge of PHP and JavaScript
