Job description

  • To provide and deliver a consistent and reliable Master Data Management service for the Team Leidos Community

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

Independently identify, investigate, and resolve risks/faults or inefficiencies in internal systems and workflows.

Analyse data to uncover trends, errors, or opportunities for improvement.

Automating collection of technical data and presenting this into a usable format for the wider team and business to analyse.

Serve as the main point of contact for customer-facing issues related to project scope.

Communicate project updates, timelines, and issue resolutions with stakeholders and partners.

Collaborate with technical teams to understand system functionality and relay findings effectively.

Develop and maintain project documentation, reports, and status dashboards.

Improve MDM data reports Using MS Reporting Services. Receive requirements from QA and develop reports to continuously improve data quality.

Support all User Acceptance Testing (UAT) testing activities - Engaging with stakeholders at all levels including developers, senior leadership team and programme managers etc.

Adhere to regulatory requirements and support maintenance of processes and procedures, which include standards for Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) distribution licensing and the Military Airworthiness Authority (MAA) Airworthiness regulations.

Requirements

Ability to understand current processes and procedures and investigate opportunities to improve them.

Need to be able to help train and support other team members once established in the position.

Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience:

Proven experience in process improvement roles (data).

Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Knowledge in other Microsoft Office applications, such as SharePoint, Project and Visio).

Understanding of ASP.NET, C# and SQL is desirable, but not essential (WebForms).

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong customer service orientation and experience handling external clients.

Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritise in a fast-paced environment. Need to be self-driven and not afraid to interrogate business processes., Candidates must be eligible to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance and Security Clearance (SC). This process includes verification of identity, right to work in the UK, employment history, and a basic criminal records check for unspent convictions. Please note that candidates must have resided in the UK for 5 years to meet SC eligibility requirements.
