Java Developer

• Design, develop and enhance scalable Back End systems using modern Java frameworks.
• Lead technical design discussions and translate requirements into high-quality solutions.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including stand-ups, sprint planning and retrospectives.
• Provide technical leadership and mentor team members.
• Manage integration of large-scale components within complex application ecosystems.
• Support incident management, troubleshooting, and root-cause analysis.
• Deliver BAU support, including out-of-hours availability (Mon-Sat, 1 week per month).

We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Back End Developer with strong Identity & Access Management (IDAM) experience and active SC Clearance to join a major Government programme. This role sits within a high-performing continuous improvement squad, delivering new features, enhancements, and BAU support across mission-critical digital identity services., * Active SC Clearance (must be currently active).

• Strong experience with IDAM platforms such as ForgeRock, One Identity, Okta, Azure AD, Auth0.
• Proven Java development experience (Spring Boot, Hibernate).
• Hands-on experience with Jenkins and CI/CD processes.
• Experience in reverse engineering and system analysis.
• Ability to work independently on Jira tickets as well as collaboratively within a close-knit Agile team.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
