Job description
In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide technical assistance to internal and external customers and ensure timely and cost-effective support in accordance with guidelines. Each day, you will contribute to customer satisfaction by executing support work according to customer expectations. You will also showcase your skill in customer service by ensuring customer retention through delivering high-quality customer experience

You will be mainly responsible for
- Providing hardware support for ABB UPS (Uninterruptible Power Source) and PCS (Power Conditioning) products via our ticketing system, phone, or email, including supporting partners and subsidiaries through the 24/7 Diagnostic Centre rotation.
- Performing complex system analysis for ABB UPS and PCS products and documenting your findings for relevant stakeholders.
- Occasionally traveling to support customers, partners, and ABB subsidiaries with complex installations (such as large data centers), auditing service operations, and developing the competencies of local teams. As well as providing technical training on UPS and PCS products for customers and service engineers as required.
- Interacting with other departments, such as Quality and R&D, to address product issues and drive continuous product improvement.
Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree, Diploma, or higher academic qualification in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
- Several years of hands-on experience in commissioning, after-sales technical support, and advanced diagnostics of UPS, PCS, or energy storage solutions. Experience with ABB products is highly beneficial.
- Demonstrated experience in commissioning and troubleshooting mission-critical applications such as data centers, high-volume industrial facilities, and critical infrastructure installations.
- Proficiency in both verbal and written English communication (B2 level or higher). Knowledge of any other language is a welcome asset.
- The ability to write clear and concise technical documents, reports, and field support procedures.
- A good working knowledge of the MS Office package.
- A willingness to engage directly with clients and teams worldwide, with a travel commitment of up to 15%.
- Certification in quality and electrical safety standards (e.g., Six Sigma) is highly beneficial.
