Job description
The Asset Data Analytics department within TenneT's Asset Management & Technology unit is responsible for providing insight into all structured and unstructured asset data. With assets we mean in this context the structures and components that realize the (Ultra) High Voltage Grid TenneT owns in Germany and the Netherlands. Asset data means all information that refers to the assets of TenneT and the structures that these assets are maintained in. This data includes structured and unstructured data.
One of the team's tasks is to develop products to improve the data quality of our unstructured data, e.g. Findability, accessibility, interoperability and re-useability. Together with our chain partners and Business Technology organisation we develop these products in a cloud environment with the use of Artificial Intelligence (AI). With the stakeholders you set priorities and communicate these to the team, in order to create the products that bring most value to the company.
Responsibilities:
- Advising stakeholders at tactical level and balancing between customer interests and strategic goals;
- Creating a vision for your service or product based on overarching objectives;
- Communicating the vision to the stakeholders and the team;
- Translating the vision into a (multi-year) roadmap with defined backlog items;
- Steering on results and ensuring delivery of maximum value;
- Building a strong virtual team with good governance;
- Ultimately responsible for the acceptance, management and maintenance (Lifecycle Management) of the product.
Requirements
- 3 - 5 years of experience in the area of data analytics;
- Experience with agile ways of working (e.g. SCRUM);
- Knowledge of machine learning concepts, programming languages, tools and frameworks like: supervised/unsupervised learning, Python, Spacy, Natural Language Processing, Large Language Models, ElasticSearch and OpenCV;
- You are a good listener, communicator and possess a "can do" mentality;
- Team player and willing to travel. The team of data scientists are partly located in Arnhem, Lehrte and Bayreuth, building and exchange of knowledge within the team is key;
- Excellent communication skills in Dutch and English (both verbally and written), German is a pre.
