SystemsAccountants is supporting a Finance Systems & Data Senior Analyst hire for a business using Oracle Cloud ERP. The role requires a rare combination of strong technical expertise and exceptional stakeholder management, as a significant part of the position involves working closely with finance leadership and wider business users. The successful candidate will provide support, configuration, and optimisation across Oracle Cloud modules in Financials, Procurement, Risk Management, and Fusion Data Analytics, while also driving enhancements, process improvements, and projects that increase efficiency, compliance, and business value.
What You'll Do
Provide expert day-to-day support across Oracle Cloud Financials (GL, AP, AR, PA, FA, CM), Procurement, Risk Management, and Fusion Data Analytics.
Lead the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of new functionalities and system enhancements.
Partner with finance and business stakeholders to gather requirements, analyse processes, and translate needs into practical Oracle solutions.
Maintain and optimise system configurations, approval workflows, and integrations, ensuring security, compliance, and alignment with best practice.
Troubleshoot complex issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement long-term solutions.
Support quarterly Oracle Cloud updates, including impact assessments, regression testing, and end-user communications.
Develop reporting and analytics solutions using OTBI, BI Publisher, and FDA capabilities to support business insights and decision-making.
Deliver training, knowledge transfer, and documentation to drive Oracle adoption and user confidence across the organisation.
Collaborate with Oracle Support, internal IT teams, and system integrators to resolve issues efficiently.
Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation within Financials, Procurement, and Risk functions.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Root cause analysis?, Strong functional experience in Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, particularly Financials, Procurement, and Risk Management.
Solid technical understanding of BI reporting tools (OTBI, BI Publisher) and security roles/configuration.
Excellent analytical skills to break down complex business processes and translate them into Oracle solutions.
Proven problem-solving ability with a focus on delivering practical, long-term solutions.
Experience delivering projects in both structured and agile environments, including CRP, UAT, and deployment.
Oracle ERP certifications desirable (Financials or Procurement Cloud).
Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills; able to influence, educate, and build strong relationships across finance and business teams.
Highly collaborative, proactive, and willing to share knowledge and expertise.
Organised and capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable driving and supporting change, with a continuous improvement mindset.
