About the company

Dear potential applicant, I can say, unequivocally, that I am proud to be a member of the St Andrew's community, and that it is an honour to be the Headteacher of a school filled with so much love. With significant investments continually being made across the school, we continue to seek opportunities for real innovation and change. St Andrew's is a school that has love at its core. You see it in the relationships between staff and students; both in the classrooms and the corridors; and in the excellent pastoral care that every student is given. I have heard many describe being part of our school community as being like 'family'; both giving and receiving unrelenting love. As our school community continues to grow and our reliance on technology increases, we are seeking a skilled IT Technician to join our dedicated IT team. This role is vital to ensuring our students and staff have reliable, day-to-day access to the technology they need for effective teaching and learning. The successful candidate will work closely with our IT Manager to maintain our systems, provide responsive technical support, and contribute to keeping our digital environment safe and secure. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real difference to our school community by ensuring technology works seamlessly to support our educational mission. Our core Christian values run through all that we do, both in daily life and in strategic development. We have the highest expectations and aspirations for all members of our community, and accept nothing less than an individual's best. We recognise that we are all unique, with unique training and developmental needs - and we aim to give every staff member the best CPD to enable them to reach their career goals, no matter what that goal may be. This includes, but is not limited to, degree level apprenticeships in Youth Work. The successful candidate will have: aspirational vision that will inspire our young people and staff to be the best that they can be; a positive and solution focused approach, applying a 'can do' attitude to any potential challenges; and a desire to change the lives of young people for the better. It truly is an exciting time to join St Andrew's. Whilst considerable growth and progress has been made in recent years, there is still so much impact to be made as the school goes from strength to strength. I would be delighted to show you around the school and/or offer a chance to meet the team.
